Student Card (Legitymacja Studencka)

Here, in Poland you can  get  discounts, cheaper prices and many other privileges almost everywhere if you are a student.
During the following academic year you are going to be a part of our students body and you will be given for this reason an electronic Student Card (Legitymacja Studencka). It will be also necessary for you to prove that you belong to Adam Mickiewicz University in the event of any official questioning. Also, with your SC you are allowed to check out books at the library.

You should upload your photo when you are applying for Erasmus mobility at AMU, right after you have received the notification about your acceptance. Remember that your photo must meet certain technical requirements (they are listed  here below as well as at the incoming registration site). After that, here in Kalisz, you can pick up your SC from the Faculty Erasmus Coordinator after paying the required fee.

The cost of SC is 17 PLN (around 4.5 Euros).  All students are assigned a  personal bank  number in USOS (our university data management system where all university students are registered) which is needed to make payment. The student receives a message about how to log into the USOS via incoming registration system. To check your assigned SC bank account number, log into USOSweb, go to student's section and then My studies, Payment,  All payments (the file name is: Legitymacja studencka).

You may make an electronic transfer or go to the bank using the pink bank slip you've printed out from the system where your personal number is printed and pay in cash. The payment account is  with PKO-BP (Bank Polski). There are many bank offices around the city, but you can find below the address of the closest to our building and to the city centre.
